The Plan is Coming Together

    The portfolio project has various different elements that work in tandem to produce a cohesive, high quality film introduction as a product. With this in mind, I figured working with a partner or two would be best to help organize all aspects of this project. Also, since this project includes a lot of creative elements, having more than one person contribute ideas and opinions ensures the ending product is essentially more unique and applicable to the guidelines. My group’s first goal going into this project is to determine the genre of film we want to portray and then develop a plot/ storyline from there so we can determine what type of opening would best suit our film. With this in mind, we’ll do research on not only the genre, but also what techniques would best help to develop the type of film introduction we decide upon, such as establishing setting or characters. In doing so, we’ll be able to properly and more easily storyboard, film, and edit our introduction into a seamless piece. Throughout the entire process, I’ll also be blogging our progress, struggles, plans, and more to ensure my group’s process is fully detailed and illustrated and so that in the end we can review our timeline and see where we did great and maybe where some improvements could have been made.
